    The feathers are sewn
    lightly
    across the base of the feathers to create a continuous strand. The measurement cross the bottom is approximately 5-8". The lightly sewn stitch can easily be snipped to pull one or as many feathers as you need for your project.
    When laid flat, the feathers look like a continuous fringe.
