    1915 PPIE San Francisco International Expo So Called Dollar HK 415. Condition is "Used".
    Item is a so called dollar or commemorative medalfrom the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition held in San Francisco California. The event was held to commemorate the completion of the Panama Canal and show casing San Francisco’s recovery from the devastation of the 1906 earthquake and fire and its emergence as a global city. It is designated as HK-415. One side shows a standing Minerva in the center with a crown and a flag.
    There is a bear below the woman’s arm and acity in the background with the sun rising on the horizon.
    The other side of the coins depicts the tallsteeple of the Tower of Jewels with Text Surrounding. Measures approximately 1.5” in diameter and appears to be made of brass or bronze.
    Has a reeded edge. I am not a coin collectorand do not know the terminology or grading standards for coins. I would say, asa non-collector, that this item is Good Plus to Very Good. Does have some overall surface wear and some scratching. Reeded edge shows some wear. Submission of a bid or purchase of the item is an acknowledgement of the condition of thecoin as shown in the pictures. It is further acknowledgment that my declarationof Good Plus to Very Good is my own opinion. You have to judge for yourselfwhat the item is worth to you as shown.
