San Diego city and county published by the board of supervisors and the chamber of commerceBasically a booklet describing all of San Diego's facilities, in fair shape considering the age of 102 yearsThe Panama-California Exposition was an exposition held in San Diego , California , between January 1, 1915, and January 1, 1917. The exposition celebrated the opening of the Panama Canal , and was meant to tout San Diego as the first U.S. port of call for ships traveling north after passing westward through the canal. The fair was held in San Diego's large urban Balboa Park.
Booklet is in good condition with edge and corner wear. Couple very light foxing spots on covers. Insides are complete with no missing ripped or torn pages. Wear on covers as pictured. Couple small nicks and crease lines. Official Exposition stamp on cover.
