The obverse of this set of coins depicts Queen Elizabeth the Second in an interpretation by Arnold Machin. This set proved to be extremely popular. By the end of order 112,163 sets in this format had been issued. To accommodate this mintage, every coin in this set has a mintage of 181,000 pieces.
