The Range Rover was bought in February after my Defender went to the shop for a rebuild. The Rover exceeded my expectations this winter, getting us through the deep snow to our off the grid home with ease. With the Defender up-n-running the girlfriend says 3 cars is too many and its time to let it go as I promised. If I could I'd keep them both, but seeing as she won't give up her spot in the garage & I'd hate to see it trashed by the winter weather, it's best to find it a new owner who will appreciate this Rover as much as we have. I'm into the car for a tiny bit more than the asking price but some of those improvements were worth it for piece of mine and appearance. The 2012 Range Rover Supercharged Autobiography has been well cared for & is equipped with every options available with an original MSRP at over 0K. The
Supercharged
Autobiography is a perfect blend of luxury and performance with over k in added options to the base HSE model. This truck provides all the comforts expected for its price. The Autobiography
was wrapped in beautiful exterior color combination of matte olive green with additional black accents over a cocoa brown interior with light tan trim. The Autobiography interior options include heated & cooled seats both front and rear, power adjustable & heated steering wheel with a wood/leather combo, power head rest & power reclining rear seats, rear vanity mirrors, headrest entertainment system with dvd player, aux audio & video plug-in, moonroof, heated front windshield, iPhone bluetooth plug-in, navigation, 360deg. camera views, park assist & lane change assist, tow hitch receiver package and roof utility crossbars.
Driving this truck is truly amazing and its performance continues to impress, either cruising down the highway, climbing a mountain pass or just heading into town for shopping. With a 500hp supercharged engine the truck feels more like a grand tourer floating down the road on the air ride-'height controlled' suspension. The traction control on Range Rover is astonishing even in comparison to newer SUVs, allowing full control in even the most hazardous conditions. I purchased the vehicle specifically for its traction control & locking differentials...equipped with studded snow tires this truck was easily capable of driving the steep icy roads to the mountain house that most other SUVs could not. If you require studded snow tires the Nokian Hakkapeliitta's I purchased were used for 2 months and can be included for an additional 0.
The exterior color is sand grey covered with the matte olive green wrap appearing in great condition as it was always well cared for and garaged by its current & previous car enthusiast owners. The only flaw in the wrap is a tiny tear on the driver door which I am happy to forward photos of.
The interior color combination is beautiful with most of the seats appearing hardly sat-in, the rubber floor mats are included throughout with front and rear seat covers also.
The local mechanic performed a thorough service, replacing the rear brake pads, rotors & sensors, new suspension air bag, thrust arm, control arm, bushings & bearings, all fluid serviced per 75K mi. maintenance recommendations. An inspection of critical items per milage of the vehicle was performed on the timing chain, injectors, supercharger, transmission & complete braking system all of which appeared to show normal wear & are operating properly. Previous air suspension and timing chain issues have concerned me in purchasing a '12 Range Rovers, however after having a trusted Land Rover certified mechanic look them over. I'm pleased this vehicle seems to have been well maintained & carefully driven. The suspension airbags are known to develop dry cracks overtime so replacing them was always considered prior to my purchase. Upgrading the front brakes to Brembo or Stoptech would be "MY" next project for the mechanic if I were keeping the car, the original front brakes are somewhat of a disappointment in comparison to the rest of the trucks engineering. However, with all mechanical components of the car in optimal condition you can feel confident driving it for another 75k miles.
I'm more than willing to provide additional photos upon request for serious buyers, with a video walkthrough so you can be confident in knowing exactly what you're paying for. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. The market for 2012 Range Rover Autobiography's seems to be climbing & with the mechanical work performed, hopefully it puts you at ease knowing it's a future cost you won't have to worry about.
I've worked with a couple reputable transportation companies that can deliver anywhere in the lower 48 for under k-covered trailer, within a week. If you need assistance shipping the vehicle or if you prefer picking it up in person I'm willing to assist however I can. I've truly enjoyed this truck & am sad to be letting it go but theres just something about my old nostalgic Defender that keeps pulling me in.
Thank you for your interest in my 2012 Range Rover-Supercharged-Autobiography. Good luck bidding y'all!
