2021 Collector Barbie Looks Model #3 Petite Partial Outfit Replacement Shoes

In this listing we have a really neat Barbie doll outfit. This outfit was released this year for the new Barbie Looks collection from Barbie Collector. This outfit is from the Model #3, the petite in the line. This outfit has replacement shoes. It consists of a black and white shell top with a crisscross design. One side is a white mesh fabric and the other side is a black synthetic knit, a black synthetic knit skirt, and a pair of orange high heel shoes. The shoes are replacements, but they are genuine Mattel shoes. The outfit is designed for the petite body and will fit similar sized dolls. The shoes are for dolls with the petite or original sized high heeled feet. The top closes in the back with Velcro, the skirt has an elastic waist, and the shoes have a slit in the back to help put them on the doll’s feet. This outfit was made in Indonesia.
This outfit is in very good shape. It was just taken off a just removed from the box doll. I will point out that due to the cost point of the original dolls, there are some short cuts that were taken with the outfit. It’s still cute but has some factory issues.  The top is nice. There are some excess threads in the back where the Velcro is sewn on. There are also some excess threads at the side seam at the arm holes and a small one along the side seam on the right side (near the top). Some of the top stitching for the mesh part is a little wobbly in places. It’s secure, just a little cosmetically sloppy. The skirt looks good. There are some excess threads at the top and bottom hem in the back. The hem is also a little uneven with one side a bit longer than the other. The waist is elastic, but it’s not gathered so it has to stretch a lot to go on the doll. I would be careful about stretching it too much since threads can pop if stretched too far. The shoes look good. They do have seam lines and mold injection spots, but they all will have that. Along some of the seam lines there is some small bits of excess plastic in a few spots. When you look at them closely, they do have some small molding flaws, but they are very minor. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll outfit and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
