Description

Here is an antique vintage Mailing Card souvenir postcard of the 1915 Victor Exhibit at the Palace of Liberal Arts at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition, San Francisco.  It is postmarked Nov 8, 1915 in Point Richmond, CA and was mailed to Beverly, WV - the 2-cent stamp has been removed -- the space for correspondence on the back is simply signed l Corinne in pencil.
The front of the card has the Victor logo with Nipper listening to His Master's Voice and pictures the Victor building at the fair -- inside the card is another, more colorful view of the building and a vivid pop-up picture of people in costume and fancy dress listening to the wonderful talking machine made by the Victor Talking Machine Company.
It measures 9" x  4 3/4".
Condition is used, as pictured -- it's a bit rough, but the colors are grand - 1/2" tear at the top the front -- 3/8" tear at the upper right corner of the 3D frame inside.
I am always happy to combine shipping.
The Panama–Pacific International Exposition (PPIE) was a world’s fair held in San Francisco, California, from February 20 to December 4, 1915. Its purpose was to celebrate the completion of the Panama Canal, but it was widely seen in the city as an opportunity to showcase its recovery from the 1906 earthquake. The fair was constructed on a 635-acre site between the Presidio and Fort Mason, now known as the Marina District.
