Yes, Virginia, there is a Poinsettia Festival. It’s held annually in Phoenix, Arizona in early December. Poinsettias are the star of the festival of course, so take your camera with you, but there are also Christmas displays, a holiday boutique, free wagon rides, food, face painting for kids, and Santa is there.
The festival queen is wearing a full, strapless gown made by one of Ebay’s talented seamstresses. It features an all-over poinsettia print with white lace trim on the hem and a white bow at the waist. Every poinsettia queen worth her stuff has a giant poinsettia scepter, a circlet, a white wrap with poinsettias, a handbag with a poinsettia embellishment, heels, a poinsettia charm necklace and poinsettia stud earrings and a coordinating beaded bracelet. The doll is NOT included. She is full-figured and I think the dress would actually be a better fit on a smaller busted doll.
I acquired this dress new so I did not launder it. I do not see any flaws. It comes to you from our Barbie-loving home, non-smoking and pet-controlled home.
