In 1892, Harry Dacre wrote this song titled “Daisy Bell” and riding tandem became “a thing.” A simpler time for sure. This dress is as sweet as the song with its organza overskirt peppered with flowers and its silver dotted bodice. I played up the daisy theme, creating a wrap, purse and choker necklace with bejeweled daisy chains, and added a bracelet and earrings that look like raspberries, along with some pink shoes.
I acquired this dress second hand, so it has likely seen some play time. It has been freshly laundered. Made for Barbie-sized dolls, this dress is a wannabe, so it is priced accordingly. From a non-smoking, Barbie-loving home.
