In the fashion doll universe, Barbie has had her share of rivals—Jem, Tammy, Sandi, Tressy, Gene—but when you walk down the doll aisle at Walmart, pink reigns supreme. I would guess that when it comes to Barbie’s wardrobe, her pink dresses probably outnumber her other dresses eight to one. This particular pink dress is on the hot pink end of the scale. Made of easy-care tricot, it features a white lace overlay on the bodice and a fan-like ruffle sleeve. I added a gauzy white wrap, pink heels, a glittery silver purse, and silver and white beaded necklace, bracelet and earrings. The doll is NOT included.
I got this authentic Barbie label fashion second hand, so it has likely seen some play time. Gentle hands must have owned it because it is in lovely shape. It has been freshly laundered. Use your judgement if this ensemble is for a young child. The jewelry will require some dexterity to put on a doll. My items come to you from a smoke-free, Barbie-loving home in which our schnauzer and westie are free ranging but not allowed access to mama’s good stuff.
