The Candy Cane Princess lives in the same North Pole village as Santa Claus. As the holidays draw near, her job is to oversee the making of the thousands and thousands of candy canes that Santa will slip into stockings and pass out during photo sessions at the mall. She makes sure the red and white stripes are twisted to perfection and that the crook has the perfect curve to hang on a tree branch or to be held by tiny fingers after their visit with Santa.
The princess is wearing a red and white gown that promotes the sweets produced under her watchful eye. Her accessories include a candy cane scepter and wrist-held candy cane key, a silver bejeweled circlet, a silver mesh wrap, red heels, a red and white striped grosgrain ribbon handbag, red and white beaded necklace and bracelet and candy cane earrings. The doll is NOT included. She is a thin doll but the dress is clearly for a model muse sized Barbie as my full-busted Very Velvet Barbie would bust out of the dress if she sneezed.
I acquired this authentic Barbie fashion second-hand so it has likely seen some play time. I don’t see anything I would consider a flaw. It has been freshly laundered and comes to you from a smoke-free, Barbie-loving home.
