My sister collected hat pins for many years and even belonged to the Hat Pin Society and attended several conventions.  We now live in a retirement community and are trying to downsize our collections. Nice 10 3/8" tall hat pin, brass with pretty cut stone in light purple or lilac in center. width of pin 1".  Nice pattern with open work for the stone to shine on back of pin around the finding.
