Description
Beautiful magazine ad page featuring BYRRH WINE. Rescued from a damaged issue of FRANCE ILLUSTRATION magazine. Cover date was May 10, 1952.Illustrator used a mix of bright and excellent colors and art work.
Ad translates to:
BYRRH Aperitif Cinchona Wine. Sun, Flowers, Byrrh, Happy Spring.
Ad page edges were trimmed to eliminate small tears and scuffs. Page now measures 9 5/8" x 13 1/8".

I'll place the ad page inside a plastic sleeve and add a piece of white foam board for protection while mailing by USPS First Class in a bubble envelope.

Robert Falcucci
Falcucci was a French illustrator. . He was introduced to drawing and painting by Cecile Cavaille-Coll (1854–1944), granddaughter of the famous organ builder, Aristide Cavaillé-Coll (1811–1899), painter and designer. He was educated at the National School of Fine Arts. He worked for the Renault car company from 1923–27, directing many magazine advertising pages, especially for Omnia and Automobilia. In the 1930s he illustrated the programs for the Monte Carlo Rally. In 1948 he worked as Painter of the Army. In the 1950s he decorated the first Caravelle (1957), and A Gallery Cathedral for the Royal Rue Royale, (1958). In the 1960s he designed decorations for the Boeing 707. He worked on many other important and excellent art and design projects throughout his life.
