This collection placed under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee is the
first complete collection of commemorative philatelic coins
for the centenary of the IOC
It brings together stamps, first-day cancellations, postal stationery, souvenir blocks, sheetlets, special cancellations and pennants made and issued by countries wishing to commemorate this historic event.
For each of these countries, a page offers historical and geographical information on its National Olympic Committee, indicates the number of participations in the Olympic Games and medals won and presents a reproduction of the country's first stamp devoted to the Games.
Then follow the philatelic pages containing the commemorative issues
