    The Ohr ha-Chaim Synagogue
synagogue is located on land extending westward into the Armenia quarter.  It is attributed to Rabbi Attar (aka Ohr ha-Chaim - the Light of Life), who was born in the Moroccan city of Miknas in 1696 and died in Jerusalem in 1743.  He arrived in Palestine from Morocco in 1742.  It is said that he established a study room with a section for women.  The synagogue was handed over to Ashkenazi Jews and remained as such until 1948.  It was not damaged in the war, and after 1967, it was re-furnished and reopened.
Nothing distinguishes it in terms of size or architecture.
