LOT of 26 Oscar Levant 1959 TV SHOW KHJ channel #9 HOLLYWOOD CA Unused Tickets
This is from my collection of these tickets that were found in dry storage that someone saved all these years. I have a group in this auction of 26 tickets all different dates. I have also taken pictures from different angles to show condition. I would say these are all in  excellent condition still overall except for a few that are dinged corners or edges. Some do have some fading/staining on the edges as seen but overall really nice pulled out from the middle of the box.
This is a great piece of history here! Please note there are different dates which would have had different guests of which some were very famous at the time like Fred Astaire. If you do a search about Oscar Levant he was a very interesting person from
being a pianist, composer, author, comedian, actor and early guest host type tv type person. The other subject matter that is important here is it pertained to Channel 9 KHJ-TV in Hollywood California which eventually had people like Regis Philbin  as a co-host. These shows from 1959 which the 1950s had a lot of interesting things going on from Marilyn Monroe to Presidential stuff later on.
The Levant show only lasted about 3 years and finding items related to the show are tough. There are 2 episodes that can be found online which are worth watching to get a take on Oscar Levant a little more. He was born in Pittsburgh PA and his family was Orthodox Jewish from Russia. Many people collect tickets & movie/tv memorabilia so these would have some value especially to people getting tickets graded now as most of these are in really nice condition. I do have more so if you are interested in a bigger lot let me know. I am the source for these.
