Original...1915 PPIE San Francisco Worlds Fair...Black-ink printed...8" by 2". Silk silver-cream  color Official Award Ribbon...GRAND PRIZE awarded for "Department of HORTICULTURE"...facsimile signatures of PPIE Fair officials. 100+ years old....NOS.
Manufactured by famous S.F. California "B. Pasquale Co."...who had the major contact for all the Fairs ribbons, banners, and flags.
These ribbons were usually sewn to larger banners...this never got used...and had sat for 60 years on the dusty Pasquale Co. shelves until 1974.
Has no visible storage wear...scissor cut top & bottom swallowtail cut as used on banners... Excellent display condition.
Unique and scarce award ribbon...a one-of-a-kind PPIE collectible...rarely seen for sale.
