Description
"Pennsylvania!" A poem by Harvey Maitland Watts, written for the dedication of the Pennsylvania State Pavilion at the Panama-Pacific Exposition in San Fransisco on March 18, 1915. Printed as a 16p booklet with brown paper cover, bound by string. Front cover has a short description of the work below the title, then has three small illustrations on the bottom showing the different sides of Pennsylvania: the factories to represent industry, a calm nature scene for its natural beauty, and the top of the Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia that, famously, was once home to the Liberty Bell. On the back there is an illustration of the Pennsylvania Pavilion. 7" x 5 1/2"
