    1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition Closing Day 2 1/4" Pinback & Ribbon.
    This button and Ribbon were donated to the Olympia Kiwanis Club with the entire estate of long time member, Leighton Johnson. Leighton was the only Child of professional baseball player Lloyd “Eppa “ Johnson, who played baseball professionally from 1930-1941. This button was collected by Lloyds parents or grandparents and was handed down in the family. Both the button and ribbon are in excellent condition. There is no rust on the button, and it is almost like new. There are no cracks or splits in the button covering. The ribbon is strong and in very nice condition. The ribbon says “Closing Day, Saturday, Dec. 4, 1915. The button says “Panama Pacific International Exposition” and “Admit One” The top bar (with the pi back) says “Good-Bye” It is extremely rare to find this button in this near mint condition. 100% of the proceeds go to the Olympia Kiwanis Club charities.
