This is an original antique superb watercolour painting on board featuring a study of a Smooth Haired Fox Terrier, the dog is named as "Ringstone Riskit" and it is fully signed by the artist N. Roberts and dated 1935, Roberts is a specialist British Dog Artist whose illustrations can be found in Hutchinson's Dog Encyclopaedia amongst others, it is in very good original condition in its original gilt mat, this is a rare and important early painting of a named Smooth Haired Fox Terrier from a famous English Kennels, overall size including mat approx. 17.5" x 14.5"
