    There are 134, [3] pp. With 32 mounted hand-colored plates from photographs, some with multiple images; glassine protective guards; letterpress descriptions on facing leaves. (oblong folio) 39.5x52 cm (15¾x20½"), half brown morocco & red silk over boards, front cover and spine lettered and decorated in gilt, original folding felt-lined box. No. 146 of an unstated limited edition.
    Sumptuous and elegantly-produced view book of the P.P.I.E., handsomely printed on thick paper, with spectacular hand-colored plates from photographs. The large certification label on the front pastedown names Louisa A Lehmann as the subscriber.
    The overall condition of the book is Very Good, the silk on the cover has a lot of wear and loose thread.  Internally, the book is in Very Fine condition with no markings or missing pages and very slight toning to the edges of the page.
