    San Francisco Worlds Fair P.P.I.E. 1915 Tower of Jewels lot Original Jewel Clear
    My stepdad visited the San Francisco Treasure Island World’s Fair in 1939 when he was just a boy. His grandparents took him, the B & W photo of the family is an actual photo of them at the fair. A few years later he started collecting World’s Fair memorabilia. 70 + years later my step-dad is gone and his collection (he collected many items from many different fairs, expos, and celebrations. Save my store and check back weekly for new lots and bundles).
    This lot is for the following:
    A clear jewel from the Tower of Jewels. The jewel is in it’s holder which is stamped with the “patent Pending”.
    A mini souvenir Tower of Jewel spoon
    A mini souvenir Frying Pan marked with ”California Building”
    A commemorative opening day coin
    A pennant with glitter
    An embroidered napkin
    2 Tower of Jewels Napkin Rings in faux ivory
    A “City of Domes” hard bound book by John D. Barry 1915
    A coffee bag
    An envelope, 10 postcards and a trading card
    9 plates from a souvenir photo book (I think)
    6 amateur photos

    I have 3 other bundles with a red, green, and yellow jewel each and different add-ons.
    If anyone can identify the small jewel in the picture of all 4 larger jewels please let me know. It was in the same box and bag as the other jewels my step dad had put away.
    I am charged with selling some of my stepdad’s estate/collectibles for my mom. Save this store as a favorite as I will be listing bundles and singles for years to come, from games, political, sports, hollywood and civil war to an immense world class collection of worlds fair and exposition pieces.
