    San Francisco Worlds Fair P.P.I.E. 1915 Tower of Jewels lot Original Jewel Yellow
    My stepdad visited the San Francisco Treasure Island World’s Fair in 1939 when he was just a boy. His grandparents took him, the family photo is them at the 1939 fair. A few years later he started collecting World’s Fair memorabilia. 70 + years later my step-dad is gone and his collection (he collected many items from many different fairs, expos, and celebrations. Save my store and check back weekly for new lots and bundles).
    This lot is for the following:
    A yellow jewel from the Tower of Jewels. The jewel is in it’s holder which is stamped with the “patent Pending”.
    A mini souvenir Tower of Jewel spoon
    A mini souvenir Frying Pan marked with ”Machinery Hall”
    A Peerless Check Writer’s souvenir  coin
    A Tower of Jewels pennant in plastic
    A handkerchief in either silk or a very thin rayon/nylon (1915…I don’t know exactly what it is made of, but it’s super sheer).
    A Tower of Jewels coin tray/small metal plate
    A “Palaces and Courts of the Exposition” hard bound book by Juliet James 1915
    10 postcards and a trading card
    Collectible paper including a Standard Oil Bulletin, post-fair revenue paper clipping
    4 plates from a souvenir photo book (I think)
    6 amateur photos

    I have 3 other bundles with a red, green, and clear jewel each and different add-ons.
    If anyone can identify the small jewel in the picture of all 4 larger jewels please let me know. It was in the same box and bag as the other jewels my step dad had put away.
    I am charged with selling some of my stepdad’s estate/collectibles for my mom.
