The collection includes five flyers featuring the following artists: Sonny Fortune Qunitet, Barry Harris Quinter, the Eddie Harris Quartet, the Milt Jackson Quartet, the Chico Hamilton Quintet, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Clark Terry, Jimmy Smith, the L.A. Four, the Yusef Lateef Quartet, the Horace Silver Quintet, the Dex Gordon Quartet, Sun Ra, the Buck Hill Quartet, Johnny Griffin, the Lou Donaldson Quintet, the Heath Brothers, the Richard “Groove” Holmes Trio, Woody Herman, Leon Thomas Sextet, the Louis Hayes Quintet, the Mongo Santamaria and group, the United States Navy Band “The Commodores”, the Woody Shaw Sextet, Thad Jones, Mel Lewis, Arthur Prysock and the Red Prysock Trio, the Red Garland Trio, the Buck Hill Quartet and Arnold Sterling.
    Light age toning and slightly wrinkled with center fold creases to all items.
    The Left Bank Jazz Society was a Baltimore based organization formed in 1964, hosting a series of concerts featuring nationally acclaimed performers such as John Coltrane and Duke Ellington.
    Founded by Vernon L. Welsh (10 February 1919 – 8 August 2002) and Benny Kearse (16 March 1930 – 29 June 1999). Welsh recorded hundreds of jazz performances at the Famous Ballroom during the 1960s and 1970s.
