Vintage 1936 L'Illustration French BYRRH Print Magazine Advertisement AD
This is an original, authentic advertisement that has been removed from a magazine. These advertisements can be framed and used in a variety of settings.
This ad measures approximately 11" by 15". Grade: Very Good-wrinkles on left edge & corners, minor indentation at top margin
The advertisement will be shipped to you in a flat package. First the ad will be in an oversized kraft envelope then sandwiched between two pieces of
cardboard which are larger than the envelope. The entire 'sandwich' will be wrapped in plastic wrap and placed in a white poly bag labeled 'DO NOT BEND' and mailed via USPS 1st Class.
Because the ads we sell are usually 40 to 80 years old they are bound to have some issues. We use the following common grading scale which can also be found on eBay in the Advertising section of Buying Guides. If you have any questions about our grading please let us know and we will be happy to answer.
Mint / Near Mint
- Virtually nonexistent. Magazine was wrapped and sealed immediately after publication and unopened recently to remove the ad.
Excellent
- The ad is starting to show signs of aging (very light tanning) or may have slight creases or tears that are less than 1/4 inch in the margin. Margins are clean and even.
Very Good / Good
- There is an obvious imperfection but it doesn't take away from the overall ad. It may be a small stain, tear or ink transfer. For Very Good the imperfection would be around 1/2 inch and for Good it may be larger like for an inch.
Fair or Poor
- These ads have a major imperfection and we don't sell this classification unless the ad is extremely rare, old or requested. It may have water damage, a very big tear, severe discoloration from age or other markings.
