Description
I don’t know much history on this rare jacket but it was owned by a Capitol Records employee that was a record promoter for the company in the 70’s and 80’s. The jacket was made for Capitol Records to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Beatles first American tour. The jacket front has cloth call letters KTFM sewn to the left breast side of the jacket. The KTFM RADIO San Antonio Texas call letters were used from 1969 to 2003. The back of the jacket has cloth letters sewn into the jacket as shown and read “ BEATLES” and below that “WORLD TOUR 1964”. There is a dome like logo embroidered to the jacket center which I believe represents Washington DC which was the first stop on the 64 tour. The jacket is in very nice condition with no rips or tears or really any wear just a couple of very very minor stains that I’m sure will wash out. It is complete with all the snaps and the lettering is in mint condition. The elastic is still very pliable. The jacket tag reads size medium and made in the US and “Holloway” which I guess was the maker. FREE SHIPPING to the lower 48 states. No Reserve.
