Vintage Jam Music Magazine w/ Final Interview Stevie Ray Vaughan August 1990

For sale is a vintage copy of Jam, a local music and entertainment magazine from Dallas Texas dated August 1990. This magazine is printed on newspaper stock and in addition to a picture of SRV on the cover (with others) features an exclusive interview with Stevie. This interview, held by and written by Colby Stilton, may very well be the final and last interview Stevie gave as it was right before leaving on tour and of course his untimely death.
This magazine provided coverage of the local music scene in Dallas which was doing well back then. This magazine is 24 pages long. Their tribute to Stevie upon news of his death was printed the very next issue and I will be listing that as well.
After purchase this paper was stored in an unlit, smoke-free, temperature and humidity controlled environment. It was not sealed up and gases generated by the natural aging of newspaper stock were allowed to dissipate. That said, this paper is 31 years old. It has aged and it has yellowed some. The paper is not brittle and does not require special care when handling but highly recommend after reading and appreciating that successful buyer takes steps to stabilize it with acid free cardboard stock if stored or backing for framing. Seller does not recommend storing in a sealed plastic container.
