Vntg Occupied Japan Dog Figurine Drinking Out of Bowl Terrier c. 1945-1952

Description

I am a volunteer who helps to sell donated items that will benefit our local Humane Society.
I am not an expert on ceramics or Occupied Japan products but try my best at doing the research.
We received this adorable figurine of a dog eating out of a bowl
as a generous donation to
raise funds to help take care of the dogs and cats at the shelter until we find their “forever” home.
All proceeds go directly to the Humane Society.
The figurine is in very good condition.  No cracks, breaks or chips.  There  is age crazing under the glaze as shown in the base photo.
